Season 2 Torchwood kicks the crud out of season one and leaves it bleeding on the ground..... Season 2 also ties up alot of unaweser questions like why owen is a prick and so on.

The end of season 1 TW seeps into the last three episodes of season three Dr Who rather than the start of season 2 torchwood (which is kick arse in its own right)
