Spent today waiting for my supervisor to get back to me on my revisions based on her suggestions (in case you're wondering, she was happy with most of my corrections, so as long as she gets back to me soonish I'm on track and all is well) So, to fill in time I:

  • napped
  • watched "Jersey Girl" (odd mix of sentiment and crassness, but watchably mediocre)
  • Redid all the text on those ACOS pages with handwritten text

I don't expect people to reread them all, but look at the difference: Here's the original page 4 and here's the new version. Well, I'm proud of it anyway. And yes, they're a bit small now. Eh.

Oh, and can people tell what's going on in the new version of the Chapter 1 title page?

Vorn's font is a bit difficult to read at small sizes. =(

She's falling in the title page?

Yep! Cam was all "noone will be able to tell that's an eye"

I changed the image size, is it more readable now?

Yes, it's better!

"Redid all the text on those ACOS () pages with handwritten text"

That's actually a link to nowhere (you forgot to chuck the URL in?). So it loops back to whatever page you're on when you happen to click on it.

Picky picky :)

That's rude SQBR. It's funny, SQBR always reminds me of SPQR (Senatus Populusque Romanum or whatever it was).

How bizarre, I was just thinking about this time a troll misquoted me on a forum as "SQBR", and how I was almost as annoyed at the mis-capitalisation as the misquoting :)

That becomes less odd when you consider that I know your every thought.

For example, at the moment you're thinking about ... poached eggs.

No, I was thinking about chocolate. Really, how hard is that?

Interesting. In that case I must be reading the thoughts of someone identical to you in practically every way except that they like poached eggs, not chocolate. I wonder who?

Canberra is full of doppelgangers: people you meet who are exactly like someone you already know (even to the point of having the same name, interests, personality and physical appearance) but come from Sydney or Brisbane or somewhere else.

So far I've met doppelgangers of Leighton, Melissa and one of Max's friends ... I wonder if there's a doppelganger Sophie-who-likes-poached-eggs interfering with your brainwave signal.

But I do like poached eggs.

....maybe I'm my own doppelganger! Eep!
