I know he's said some dodgy stuff in real life, but from what I've seen he doesn't seem too bad as a writer, apart from a tendency to do David Eddings like ueber women who run rings around hapless men with their smarts and feminine wiles. This isn't perfect, but is still a step up from RTD. Or have I missed something?
