I don't like Supernatural that much (though it has it's charms and I'm slowly working my way through it) and I have noticed a lot of very intense protectiveness from it's fans. I don't begrudge them liking it (taste is a personal thing after all) but I have trouble understanding how anyone can see it as perfect.

I count myself really lucky with Heroes: both heroes_meta and bobthehaitian have lots of scope for criticism of the shows MANY flaws without descending into "We all hate this show" mockery (well, except lately to some extent, when the quality dropped suddenly)
