Yeah, people there suck as much as in any group. I'm sure that once I stop feeling so much like I'm learning new and useful ideas my irritation with the fact that People In Groups Suck will eventually drive me to be less involved. (As has happened with pretty much every group I have ever joined except science fiction fandom, and even then I am Never Going On Committee Again)
