Yes, I wondered how all the attention was affecting your own Spooniness. (That's the price you pay for being so awesome :)) I think I may avoid communities myself, but it's sad making because I liked getting that wider variety of opinions.

I think maybe tehre's a differnece between "oops, sick now, going to ignore you forever" and "oops, sick now, I'll get back to you when I can"?

Yes, but if the person doesn't know me they can look pretty similar, especially since often in my absence someone else says what I was going to so I don't really get back to them, except to say "What they said". And sometimes so much time has passed it feels awkward to come back, the conversation is dead and they presumably don't care any more. I may be misjudging there though.
