Hmm. You probably haven't had a chance to check your email yet, but I have sent you an email about this whole thing.
Anyway, while I realise you couldn't have been sure I was reading your livejournal (I am, at least for the moment), a better way to draw my attention is to say "I've updated my livejournal and would like you to read it", maybe adding a link to the entry if you really want. You have to stop cutting and pasting stuff and posting it to people's livejournals, I know you're new to lj but comments are supposed to be relevant to the entry they're posted on, and if they're not then you should at least have the politeness to say "I'm sorry to post something so random, but I couldn't see any other way to contact you and wanted to let you know that...", or at the very least keep them short.
Sorry if this comes accross as rude, but it's for your own good. This sort of stuff really alienates people, and it would be a pity if you missed out on the chance to get something positive out of livejournal because noone told you when you were breaking the rules.
