I think it's more like... I don't expect you to ban people for slipups and such. I just want to state that I am aware that I'm not infallible and that I'm open for criticism. Unlike, I dunno, thinking everything will go smoothly always because I'm totally fine kthnx and then flying off the handle when facing corrections. (Which might be a self-centered thing to do? Hm.)
