Definitions are arbitrary conceptual boxes we use to simplify a complex world for our simple brains. It's hardly fair to blame the world for not fitting these boxes, yet people do so, especially if it challenges their worldview.
(*)or anyone else, but that's the one I hear about the most. And if I'm sick of it as a white Australian I can only imagine biracial Americans are ever so slightly sick of it too.
