I was surprised by the way my art/comics and fic differ so much. But my fic tends to be much more in the head of the main character, and I have trouble getting into guy's heads: the ONLY male protags I've written have been Dragon Age PCs, which I played as first person long enough that I got a feel for them. Which is funny, since I actually often find it easier relating to guys in person and am not a very girly girl or anything.
