I think the criticisms about excessively dogmatic aggression are not entirely unwarranted, see this discussion for example. But I agree, it's exaggerated and pales in comparison to the incredibly horrible treatment online feminists etc can experience. And yeah, as with the tone argument, even if the way a criticism is expressed is flawed that shouldn't be used as a smokescreen to avoid dealing with what's being criticised.
