I have to disagree that any of the human kids were written with "ambiguous ethnicity". They were clearly coded as white, and betaverse Bro was explicitly white before Hussie retconned it in response to POC fans demonstrating that his ~aracial~ claim was bullshit.

I have trouble interpreting yep everybody in that list is white and there’s only three het ships in that entire list. good job guys, gold stark for all of y’all. as saying anything other than "writing about only white characters is racist, and writing about only men is sexist. Het is better than m/m." And the way they jump from the rarity of f/f to the "rarity" of het without pause feels to me like they're conflating them.
Their AO3 stats are roughly similar to the ones I did myself of the whole archive (using hints I got from a friend in support, AO3 can be tricksy) but as I have edited my post here to say, the AO3 is not indicative of fandom as a whole.
