Heh. After me going "Well, you could just get a livejournal" every time Cam complained about his rss reader having problems with lj or missing a locked post or whatever, he has finally succumbed. I give you... my husband, [livejournal.com profile] distantcam.

Likely to remain mostly just a reading lj I think, but that was the plan with this one too so you never know :)

Not sure if he'll find it useful, but now that he has an LJ account, he can read people's locked posts in RSS by using http://user.livejournal.com/data/rss?auth=digest It requires an RSS reader with digest authentication, which mine doesn't do, so I whipped up http://zanchey.ucc.asn.au/software/ljbd/ to solve that problem at least in the short term.

Well, that would solve the second problem but not the first :) Thanks anyway, if nothing else this was a reminder to me that noone can communicate with him via comments until he does his first post.

I keep rereading your sentence hoping I'll figure out what you mean, but it still looks like a semi random collection of words and phrases :)

Hello Mr Dr Sophie. I didn't realise you existed, no offence. I joined lj recently just for reading purposes but that did not last long. Happy blogging and commenting.

Heh. Actually he pretty much never reads comments on other people's ljs and thus is likely not offended :)

If you're wondering who he is here's a reasonably good photo.
