So, it's International Blog against Racism week and I really can't think of anything very interesting to say (I am still battling a cold or some such) Instead I have raided my tasty delicious links for ideas.

So, I ask you guys: do you know of any good resources for anti-racism in Australia? Blogs, organisations, whatever.

I've been compiling an ongoing list at this post. It's been an interesting experience for me to try and investigate this stuff, since there isn't much online and I can get very self conscious talking to strangers(*).

I would particularly reccomend the blog She Who Stumbles, "political ramblings from the point of view of a South Asian Australian woman" and the organisation Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation.

Also a special mention goes out to Hoyden about Town and [livejournal.com profile] stephiepenguin, who don't write on race all the time but are always intersting when they do, and are also on my friendslist :D

For more information about IBARW see [livejournal.com profile] ibarw. The theme this year is intersectionality, which is something I find really interesting and hopefully will get my brain in gear to address or at least find some decent links about.

(*)Yes, yes, except when I'm spruiking/explaining something etc, when I become annoyingly loud and over-confident, it's different :P
