A picture is worth...a website?

So www.livejournal.com (what I get by clicking "Home") appears to be a single small jpg image of an island or something. What? (Probably is fixed by now, but I felt the need to share) The rest of lj seems ok, specifically the "post an entry" page :)

Yes, I think it was actually a problem with our work internet cache having a broken version of the site from a few days ago.

I actually think it was a problem with the cache at work being stuck on an old, broken version of the site, since lj apparently fixed the bug a few days ago and everyone else but us seems fine. Anyway, it seems fixed here too now.

Hmm. See, that was a couple of dayas ago, but I was only having the problem at work, whose cache has a tendency not to update very often (and the only other person having the problem is tommo, who has the same job as me...) So I guess that's it.

While deploying release 36 today, we encountered a bug at the web serving layer that caused our proxy server to serve incorrect content; including displaying userpics instead of our homepage, entries at incorrect urls, etc. The problem lasted about 15 minutes and we have rolled back this release until we fix the bug.
