Not getting comment notifications

For some reason I'm not getting all my comment notifications (lj has been playing up all day so that may be it)

I can still access my inbox for all the replies to stuff on my own lj, but if you've replied to a comment I made on someone else's lj and I don't reply, assume I'm not ignoring you :)

Anyone else having this problem?

I'm not getting any notifications right now. Of course, that might be due to not having a working laptop and internet connection at home.

[Aside: PC Market has 4 "stock scanned and allocated" messages on my laptop order for an invoice with 5 items. And I'm not obsessively checking every hour or so. Honest!]

I understand how not having any internet means no notifications, but I am confused as to how this allows you to comment about it...

I was using the work internet.

Now I have new laptop and email again thus I got the notification to respond to this today. :)
