- Target are again selling big floppy felt hats just perfect for turning into pirate hats (I've had a bunch of people ask me where I got it, and that's where)
- I have just totally not felt like answering email (or doing much at all) this weekend
- I and Cam watched the BBC North and South, it was great. The blurb called it "Pride and Prejudice with a social conscience" and it totally is (if not as humourous) It will soon be back at Bassendean library for anyone else who feels like lots of dark brooding looks about feisty heroines standing up for unionists in the industrial revolution :) (It's not as victorian melodrama-y as it sounds, it actually had a very unvictorian plurality and 3 dimensionality, it was awesome)
- Latest novel was The curious incident of the dog in the night time which I thought was pretty good for a light YA book from the POV of a kid with autism if that's what you're in the mood for.
- Am working my way through The Manor Born season one (yay libraries!). It's interesting looking at it as an adult since I adored it as a child. I still have my childhood desire for a depiction of DeVere's childhood (yes, it's a good thing I don't write fanfic, or I'd have to cope with the fact noone but me would want to read it. Mm. "The Manor Born" gen, there's a big market)
