A line o links

Home sick from work today, there I was thinking "Hey, I've managed to lose some weight and my reflux actually seems to be getting better. Maybe my health has a chance of actually improving!" and then today it hits me like crazy :(

Anyway, have thus been randomly surfing and reading stuff and a cofax7 on a metafandomed post made reference to something she'd said in her lj "a few weeks back" so I read back through her entries and like 90% of them have some awesome links(*). Two that are particularly worth mentioning are this post on the unstated sexist and impractical assumptions underlying a lot of vague "back to nature/simplicity" arguments, and this article about female fandom. The article isn't that fantastic, it's just worth mentioning because...
