Today is my birthday. It has been awesome.
On Friday my mum popped round and dropped off my present, which included a Sophie-friendly replacement for chocolates: a big box of fresh fruit :)
Yesterday I go together with a group of friends for lunch and had a really nice time, got lots of cool presents, and ate tasty Sophie-friendly things (mostly meat and fruit). Passing by the "Margaret river foods" shop we noticed gourmet Mondo nougat and Cam bought me some as an early birthday present, and there was also apricot sorbet but by this point I was too stuffed to eat anything but a free sample :)
This morning I woke up feeling less crap than might have been expected given the busyness of the last few days, and then when Cam got up received a PS1 card (Yay! I can play FF8!) and Guitar Hero World Tour (Ok, so FF8 can wait..) From Genevieve in Canberra I got..all of Press gang! Huzzah! And then we went out and saw Quantum of Solace which was good, I made a tasty brown rice thing, and now I may go play some FF8 since I played so much guitar hero my arm is sore :) (I have to say, the interface is pretty crap, but I'm happy with my custom sensibly dressed rocker. The custom music I made is utterly awful, I forgot how much I suck at rhythym, but it was still fun :))
