Heh. Sorry, just playing with the idea of an animated icon and seeing if it shows up :)

EDIT: Not working, is it? Grr. It was working before! Well, this is what it's SUPPOSED to look like:

train

Hey, I did say I was just playing, I'm aware it's not the best icon ever. But it's mine and it won't show up! Grrr!

DOUBLE EDIT: Yay, working! I must say, I just meant it as a silly (albeit somewhat violent) pun, the "trains have been blowing up all over the world and people are worried about it" aspect hadn't really struck me, becuase I am dumb :)

*hopes there are no government anti-terror people on my friends list*

Is that the same Sophie I know? Only I've never associated that kind of humour with you. Perhaps your PhD and Mathsyness leads to an undue facade.

I always think something like that when I hear that speech too...

Oh, I should say good on you for putting Fremantle Station rather than any of those other ones. Since it is my station it is thus far more cool, and I have heard that speech so many times.

Is working now :)

This comic is so much funnier when you work for the PTA and know how much anti-terrorist bullshit has been circulated :)

That's a nifty piece of work!
Although it is a little unusual to come from the Sophie I know. It's like being savaged by a lamb - unexpected.

But the animated icon works perfectly from this end.

*laughs* this is very cool.

In case you are feeling insulted by all the people going "oh Sophie I didn't expect YOU to have a sharp sense of black humour!", I'm not surprised at all.

Not a bad icon, needs work IMO.

Yeah, well, I'm used to it. On the plus side I can subtly insult people and they don't notice ;)

I don't think such a silly idea is worth any more effort, but now I know I can do it so won't get daunted if I get inspired to make a more ambitious (and less sucky) animation.

"Passengers taking the 3.25 train from platform two: please put it back, as we'll be needing it again in a minute."

hehehe... awesome. I remember thinking something along those lines when I first started using public transport in Perth.

I'm not sure I understand why people seemed surprised at your sense of humour here, either. All makes sense to me :P

*laughs* you know I've always thought about this when I have heard that speech on the trains.
