A follow-on to Anti-racism is the new black.

First off: someone gave me a month free time, thanks! I got all confused and submitted a support request because I had too many icons :)

Second: A new DW icon! Which I probably won't actually use but the idea refused to go away:

Not quite right but it will do until I feel like fiddling with it some more. Inspired by Kira attempting to create the situation depicted :)

It may or may not make the various people on my flist who've been sad recently happy(er) to know that they inspired this icon (If not.. have some cake, I made it with you in mind :)) It needs some work, but I have a feeling it's going to take my brain a while to figure out exactly what I want to change about it and how, so this will do for now.

Did I miss any food intolerances?

Man, now I have an incredible craving for cream cake.

Still deciding if I'll find this one very useful, since I can see some people taking it as making fun of them rather than making fun of me. Inspired by a tradition of *blah* against racism icons I've seen around the place (I think my favourite is a pic of Chiana with the slogan "REALLY white girls against racism")

I know the image isn't very good but the Hairspray pictures online are pretty much all just repeats of the same 12 or so publicity shots put out by the distributor. I had my heart set on an image of Tracy holding a placard (and also liked the idea of using something from the original, but there are NO decent images from that I could find), but this works ok too, imo.

To cheer myself up about being too sick to work or do anything at all productive, a new usericon.

Very much inspired by bantha_fodder's aussie icon (and Asterix). Needs some work but, well, I'm sick.

So, for while I have felt the dire need of a food related icon. I set my subconscious the task of thinking of one, and it combined with subsiduary thoughts about cat icons and surreal icons and this Penny Arcade cartoon to create the icon you see before you, which leaped into my conscious mind with great force this afternoon.

I feel a bit lame using someone else's artwork (and such a well known and likely commonly-iconed one at that) but at least I did a reasonable job of adapting it, imo.

Man, it is HOT. Other than that my holiday season has been pretty "cool" so far (pretty much everyplace we visited but my parents has aircon, which helps)

Made from the picture I drew for purrdence, with her permission. How I lasted so long without such an icon I do not know. Looked nicer at home than it does at work, hmm.
