Yesterday I posted Various news stories about Aboriginal land and country to debunkingwhite. pertranslated replied with a link to the Working Group for Aboriginal Rights (Australia) which I happily added to my ever growing blogroll. And today they had a post on the subject:

Town camps takeover ’sends mixed messages’

This sentence sent a nasty chill up my spine: that has left the Government with no choice but to take over the land.

Also I feel less lazy for basing my posts on ABC news articles, since they did too :)

Fortunately, there are lawyers pointing out that the Government must have a choice but to take over the land, since they seem to manage with everyone else, and so they would breach International law.

Well that's something. Though I don't have a lot of faith in the ability of the rule of law to overcome determined government mismanagement :(
