I don't know a lot about American cooking, but I'm pretty sure Oreo-type cookies are not remotely related to Creole cuisine. According to Wikipedia they were aimed at the British market and developed in New York.

If you're feeling resilient the first comment is so terrible that it's actually funny (otherwise it's terrifying). Also there are some intelligent people in the comments arguing against it, it's not all bad.

Nnng..I'm glad there's some decent people pointing that racism did not in fact start as a result of big mean non-white people wanting an excuse to pick on white people but overall I am backing away.
