Have returned from swancon. Had an awesome time. Panels all went well (though Online SFF panel was woefully underattended thanks to being in competition with 4 really awesome things, ah well) Photos up when Cam gets around to it.

*too overwhelmed with posts and sleepiness to make many actual replies, gives general positive vibes to people on flist having bad times with breakups/pets etc*

I did like this article on academics feeling like frauds anxiolytic linked to. Man, I still feel like that. Ties in interestingly with a Gynacon panel I went to about the way female scientists are treated, it's interesting that the effect was first noticed in women but is equally present in both genders.

Oh, yes, I heard about it in plenty of time, and I totally understand. I mean, car accident!

I was actually glad the panel was cancelled (though obviously not glad of the reason why) since at that point I had lost my voice and was pondering having to tell you I might not be able to do it.
