UNEXPECTED NAKED MOHINDER
Admittedly my main thought was "Ewww, slimy". But at least he's pretty again :)
All my other complaints about characterisation on this show pale in comparison to the whole "Elle is a sociopath and always has been -> Elle used to be nice but HRG broke her -> Elle has a moment of pure redemption with Sylar and finds peace -> Sylar +Elle =Bonny and Clyde" thing. I have lost my faith in the show as a result, before now I trusted them to at least attempt a veneer of continuity between adjacent episodes. Because I was/am dumb.
But I can't quit the show because of stuff like the "everyone loses their powers" moment. I was not expecting that and it was awesome. Though of course we've seen the future and they all have their powers, even people like Mohinder who would never ask for them back (and if he did shouldn't get the broken powers). And no, the fact that's an alternate future shouldn't change things, since the eclipse is a natural event that would presumably have happened either way. Though surely people (ie the Company. And certainly Adam, how many eclipses has he seen?) would have noticed if their powers turned off last time. Hmm.
I hope Hiro gets his adulthood back. And maybe some extra, I think the child-like thing was overplayed enough before.
Me: You know, it's actually kind of surprising that they've had a haitian character for two and half seasons and only now got around to a cliched voodoo plot.
distantcam: Actually they did one in the comics in season one.
Me: Ah.

So they're following the 24 school of plot continuity?
