Hello all! Though I should have an actual Dreamwidth post here rather than the results of me importing my lj (which I may not continue with, I was just experimenting)

Yay it totally works, and it let me import my S2 layout with only the most minor of quibbles!

I must admit I got like two lines into the "How to import styles" instructions before deciding it was all too much for my poor brain :)

Also, unrelated: sorry I only got to say a brief hi at Swancon!

I mercifully didn't see instructions! It was more a case of 'Hey, this link says S2 layers. I have one of those for LJ, I wonder what happens if I cut and paste it in...ooh, it works when I take out the two bits that don't parse.' :)

Ahhh

See I'd never actually gotten the hang of layers in lj, which is why I was getting confused in Dreamwidth.

However! I have now learned enough to get started, even though it turns out that my exact lj style is not open source and thus copyable.
