I've only found two more vids which I still really like on rewatching:
- I Remember When, a nice overview of Spike's character, including some flashbacks all in chronological order.
- Jesus Walks A Gunn from Angel character study which captures him fairly well. His urban stoicism sits in contrast to the somewhat unrealistic angstiness of much of the series as a whole :)
Also, Fanvid Recs and a really long list of recs, this lj is also where I found....uh..nothing *cough*.
It would be kind of cool to have a compilation of the Angel/Spike/Dru/Darla story in order since the flashbacks are pretty much randomly scattered over the 13 years combined of Angel and Buffy.
Um..so...another recommendation. For, well..slash. In a totally non explicit sense because this is still me here, and the slash isn't why I like it though it does add a nicely subversive aspect given I can imagine CS Lewis's reaction.
Anyway: Too Young, Too Old: Edmund from "The Voyage of the Dawntreader", exploring some of the ideas Lewis totally didn't.
I know, it's appalling, I'm sinking into the morass and all attempts to extricate myself just drive me deeper...if I didn't know I'd be totally, amazingly bad at it there's this idea for a vid buzzing around in my brain I would make actual.
If you're curious: Angel, one of those songs which seems cheerfulish but when you listen really isn't (like "Wonderful" by Everclear, but maybe not so much with the child-of-divorce pov. Unless you made it Connor centric :)) Imagery from the many scenes where things look happy but aren't , intercut with the violence/badness underlying the situation, finishing with Wesley and Illyria-Fred from the final episode. eg Angels hallucinations, Gunn and Lynsdays "happy family", Cordelia and Connor, Jasmine, ah there were others I forget. Actually not that great an idea, but it appeals to me :)
