GIP: with a vengeance!

Recently there has been all kinds of craziness with lj. Bascially, afaict: a vigilante anti-pedophilia site complained about lj users with illegal "interests" and so lj deleted the accounts with those interests. All of them. Everything from actual child abusers to a huge Harry Potter erotica community to some people discussing the book "Lolita" in spanish.

Between first hearing about it and lj realising they might not have gone about things the right way I was inspired to archive my entries(*)and make this icon. So while I do not like the way lj acted, it turned out pretty well for me :)

(*) Using Xjournal. Not that "wire crochet" and "maths" are likely to get me into any trouble, but LJ headquarters might get hit by a meteor or something.

Aha! I knew if I just sat around for long enough someone would eventually summarise all the ranting that's been going on into an obvious form!

Heh. Yes, most discussion on the subject has been less in the way of summarries and more in the way of incoherent ranting and calls to arms :)
