I'm going in to Broadway for a podiatrist appointment(*) on Tuesday and to make the long trip seem less pointless was wondering if any of you guys would be up for meeting up for lunch.

I'm not too fussed where as long as it's walking distance from Broadway and has low fat dairy etc free stuff I can eat. It would have to be after about 11:15 (later if it's a fair walk)

Also: have updated ACOS. Oooh, shadows. (As suggested by the fine folk at [livejournal.com profile] sfandf_critters)

(*)Did I thank you, Frenchie, for letting me know about them? Cos if not, thanks! They were really convenient while I was tutoring. Less so now though but never mind.

Now that you're putting more effort in with the shading, it seems a shame to lapse on the backgrounds. Having all the panels be blue and then a large splash is disorientating - could you put in some buildings in a few panels? Doesn't have to be all of them!

I like the girl's colouring. Spiffy.

Oh yeah, also, your shading is great Sophie :)

Actually that was a deliberate choice, I like the clean undistractingness of the slightly-differently-coloured blue blocks. But hey, it works visually for me but not for you which is only 50% success rate, so maybe I should reconsider :D (And now that I think about it I did do a background in the first block in the last page specifically to create some context. Hmm)

Heh, thanks. See, the good thing about characters you don't intend on keeping long is you can do more interesting, time consuming styles without making this huge committment. Of course knowing my luck I'll be inspired to make her a major part of the plot now :)
