...is it just me or is my last entry showing up as if it was from yesterday, but is dated from today? Stupid lj.

I made a Nac Mac Feegle for nico_wolfwood, I am quite proud.

Swancon was fun. I was feeling kind of sleepy and asocial (I enjoyed peoples company, but was just as happy by myself so tended to be quiet unless prodded) Got a message on Friday asking me to ring back and organise an interview time, yay! So I was distracted by that. But still, fun. Ate a lot of good vietnemese. Finally got to a gynaecon panel for the first time which was on a topic I find very interesting (raunch culture ie 13 yr old girls in skimpy "pornstar" tops), I have a real thing for discussions on gender which I geuss is why I like slash panels despite not liking slash :) Am pondering doing a sff/longform webcomics panel next year given all the webcomics panels I've seen have been a little samey.

Kind of sleepy now, in case you didn't notice. Somone told me to tell somone else something and I cannot remember who. Very disturbing.

Actually most of the discussion that I saw (I missed the beginning) was about how women's self esteem is related to their perceived appearance, and the empowerment or lack thereof related to deliberately looking/being sexy. Anytime it got to girls we just ranted for a bit about how wrong it was then got back to the other discussion :)
