Bowing to peer pressure

I have been trying to find decent comic making software which suports my tablet for under a grand with little success. It's got me so crazy I'm about ready to give up and join the legions of wannabe mangakas :)

(That's a comic update btw, for those people who tend to ignore links. I know it has a few flaws that need fixing but I am So Sick of that program after the hassle of trying to export the damn thing)

I'm almost tempted to install windows and use GIMP (the mac version doesn't have proper tablet support)

you're best using photoshop with custom templates. There's a number of tips you can use to speed up the process, but far and large it's the best.

Thanks. But while it may be more aesthetically pleasing, it doesn't match the pictures in my head, so no more mangaesquness for me. Except when I feel like it :)

Also, I find it amusing that my drawing + mangaish styling looks an awful lot like El Goonish Shiv.
