Election line conversation

We're slowly shuffling past the pamphleteers, and were roughly in front of the Liberal woman.

Woman behind me (to another pamphleteer): You know what would actually be practical to give out? Water bottles.
Me: Heh. So any party that gave you a water bottle would get your vote huh?
Her: Well, it would show practical mindedness.
*pampleteers pause*

Liberal woman: ...I have some sprite?
Woman behind me: Um, no thanks.
Me: It was worth a shot, huh?
*liberal woman laughs nervously*

(Rather vaguely remembered from this morning, but that's pretty much what happened. Not intended as propoganda or commentary etc since hey, you've probably voted by now anyway, and I'm not sure there's much of a moral. Well... I have always said Sprite is evil... :) )

*snort*

I like it. And I agree; it would be a better way of gaining my attention than to shove paper in my face.
