So, having won a drabble from
irisbleufic (will link when it is done) I was suddenly struck by the utter joy of the idea of commissioning people to write fanfic for me, and since I don't write fanfic myself (if I did, I wouldn't need other people for it) afaict my best option is to draw fanart (or pay money, but that's a bit blah)
So, to see if I have it in me to draw fanart on commission, and since my last "Tell me what to draw!" experiment went pretty well (and I need to draw more): the first five people to give me a fanart prompt get one for certain, and anyone after that gets one if I can be bothered.
Fandoms: anything I'm familiar with.
G -rated. Preferably gen, but I would much prefer "Sheppard and Mackay shop for curtains" than "Dean takes a shower".
Nothing squicky, which for me (as far as I can tell) means incest (like whoa) but also weird power imbalances like teacher/student (not that I'm looking at anyone in particular here :D). And, hmm..probably other things, I reserve the right to go "Actually, I don't think I can draw that, do you have another idea?" EDIT: NO ZOMBIES
EDIT: Also, let me know if you have a problem with me turning it into a comic, since that tends to happen to most of my art by default :D
I am totally fine with stuff that has no human characters, like "Hogwarts in the snow".
I will try, but reserve the right to be crap, and may go off spec a little for artistic reasons.

(Obviously I would like something Impulse or Batman(and the rest of Gotham city) related but I'm not sure if you read/know those comics)

I had no idea who Impulse was until I googled him though, sorry :/

And now I've changed my mind.
Susan Sto Helit on Binky? Maybe flying through I don't know something cool, like a sunset or over AnkMorpork? Its probably original imagery but it'd be cool. (I just read your fandoms thingy and went DISCWORLD :P)

In that case, I would very much like either "the team explore the city -- somewhere high" or, if you would like practice illustrating something, go ahead and pick one of my fics. Several are non-sexy or gen (including a Teyla-centred one). You can find the listing here (http://cupidsbow.livejournal.com/68397.html).
If your McShep example was all a dastardly ploy, and you'd really rather not do them, I would be very happy with "hobbits on a picnic" or "R2D2 has a bad day".
A comic would be awesome, but I really don't mind what style you decide on.
Yay art!

I see Dark Knight and suddenly I go from not really thinking about Gotham universe to being embroiled in it. I think I need to read a few of the comics, I've only read a few panels and watched one or two episodes of the animated series so far.

I'm not a big superhero comics fan, but these are the good ones I've read:
"Batman: Year One" by Frank Miller is afaict generally acknowledged to be the comic that was most influential on "The Dark Knight". And then there's "Batman: The Dark Knight returns", also by Frank Miller. While good, both, of course, fail the Frank Miller Test.
"Batman: The Killing Joke" by Alan Moore is often considered The Joker comic, though I didn't like it as much as his other work.

Re: you have probably already seen this but
But I mostly had the idea because I was reading Penny Arcade and came across the strip used for this icon (http://p-userpic.livejournal.com/69665738/5926282) of
Also because I like the steampunk aesthetic.
