rescviki tagged me to do a "ten things you don't know about me" meme, but that seemed kinda similar to this meme I already did, and anyway anything NONE of you know I probably don't feel comfortable sharing with all of you.

So, ten things you may not know, which may or may not be about me.

1. There is an incredibly friendly (and kinda needy) cat living in one of the houses behind us.
   
2. His name is Whiskey
   
3. I finally found a photo of our Pratchett costume group at Swancon From right to left we have Cam as Otto von Criek, me as Cheery Littlebottom, nico_wolfwood as Sally and mandragora2003as Angua.
   
4. The Rivers store in Harbourtown sells what look like quite nice socks for $1.80.
   
5. It is a lovely day outside (hey, the foreigners didn't know that)
   
6. Threadless is having a sale. I already bought a buncha stuff thanks the voucher kitsune_iii gave us for the wedding.
   
7. I dyed my hair reddish brown about a week ago, it looks ok.
   
8. "Pirates of the Carribean 3" is secretly a Mary Sue fanfic written by a fangirl. Who may have been on some sort of drugs at the time.
   
9. I quit my job yesterday. No, not tutoring, the other one.
   
10. I'm hungry and woozy. Stupid insomnia.
    

GIP: with a vengeance!

Recently there has been all kinds of craziness with lj. Bascially, afaict: a vigilante anti-pedophilia site complained about lj users with illegal "interests" and so lj deleted the accounts with those interests. All of them. Everything from actual child abusers to a huge Harry Potter erotica community to some people discussing the book "Lolita" in spanish.

Between first hearing about it and lj realising they might not have gone about things the right way I was inspired to archive my entries(*)and make this icon. So while I do not like the way lj acted, it turned out pretty well for me :)

(*) Using Xjournal. Not that "wire crochet" and "maths" are likely to get me into any trouble, but LJ headquarters might get hit by a meteor or something.
