I looked back over my twitter feed today, apart from the replies to other people's tweets I could be adequately modeled by an AI which spit out an equal mix of geek links, tv comments, and health complaints.

If I wanteda Twitter account I would have one. I hate Twitter with a passion. Most of the Twitter feeds I see are random bits of conversations or are apropos of nothing and and make no sense.

I quite like having a twitter account, it lets me express my little random ideas without having to remember them all at once in order to create posts, but the "turning them into posts" process does require some thought and effort since a lot of it is about as interesting out of context as your average line of irc chat.

Which is exactly my issue with it. A post full of:

@somerandom; oh what a shame
"sigh"
@someoneelse: Ha ha

Is not how I want to communicate. If I did I'd have twitter, it's my choice not to have that kind of interaction and I object to having it foisted upon me.
